Lobsters!

So Rob has this patient that owns some kind of lobster company. Well he came in to see Rob yesterday and brought Rob two two pound lobsters! They we just in this box with an ice pack and they were totally alive. The guy told Rob how to cook them so he was in charge of that. Besides I started to feel bad killing them!

It is crazy looking, huh! I have decided I really don't like to see my food alive right before I eat it!

Maybe I just got too attached to them because I was lugging them around with me all day. I thought my neices and nephew would like to see them so I took them over to my sisters house for most the day. She was trying to get the kids to name them but luckily they didn't! It was bad enough when my neice started saying she loved the lobster and my sister, Chrystal, started explaining to her that Aunt Ashley was going to eat it!! She was probably horrified!

Here is Rob with his final product. He actually cooked them really well and they were tasty. It was fun because it was something I would never buy on my own.

Projects

Since we moved to AZ I have been able to hang out with my Mom a lot which has been so fun. Except we are bad when we shop together because we talk eachother into everything. We have recently vowed to be better! Anyways, Mom wanted a new picture for over her bed so we decided to make one. It was fun and I think she really liked how it turned out. We were also proud because we had no help from our husbands. We did everthing from buying the wood and all of the sawing by ourselves!

Ready for fall...

Rob and I are so ready for the weather to cool off here in AZ. It is weird because it is October now, football is on, all the fall and Halloween stuff is in the stores but it still feels like summer! I am ready to get out my sweaters! We are still adjusting, everyone here promises us that the nice weather is just around the corner. Let's hope. I have been really home sick for Pittsburgh lately. I miss this time of year when the trees are changing color and going to the farms and the fall festival. I think we also feel like life was a little simpler for us in Pittsburgh. Mostly for Rob, the stress of working full time is still hard on him. I think that we are always going to look back though and whatever we were doing before we will think that it was easier!
Everything else is still the same. No news in the house department. I feel like I am getting bigger and bigger, but I feel great still. It is getting really uncomfortable to sleep, but that is about it! I went for a Dr.'s appt. yesterday and they had me schedule the rest of my appointments and I only have like five left. Crazy! Sometimes I feel so ready for her to come and other times I am not at all ready!

My Loves...

Just a picture of my two favorites

29 Weeks

I feel like this picture makes my belly look even bigger than I realized! I can feel her move around so much now, she is VERY active. I love it though, I think I find it comforting when she moves because then I know she is doing good. We are slowly accumulating baby stuff. There is SO much we need though and it can really add up. I am sure there are a ton of things I am not thinking to buy!

Not much going on...

I know I need to post a new picture of my BIG belly, but Rob and I are so bad about taking pictures. Rob is just busy working like a crazy man. He is already convinced that he is ready to go to four days a week! We are still looking for a house. The the thing is we have made at least four offers by now. There are just so many foreclosed and short sale homes here, which is what we've been biding on, and they are like an auction and you have to just make your highest offer and hope that no one out bids you. It is stressful, especially because I can't help but to fall in love with these houses and then we don't get them. So then I mope and think I won't like another one, but there always seems to be another out there. I just pray we find one before the baby comes!
